Environmental assessment for navigation channel dredging
A group of resorts under development around a lagoon in the Red Sea needed improved transport connectivity. An environmental assessment was required for the proposed dredged navigation.
Aquageo partnered with Saudi Arabia’s foremost university, KAUST, to deliver environmental impact assessment for the development. The assessment focused on the sensitive marine environment, to meet the requirements of the World Bank/International Finance Corporation Performance Standards.
