Hydrogeological maps and Groundwater Portal for the State of Qatar
The State of Qatar have commissioned a state-of-the-art hydrogeological assessment, including scenario-building with 3D models, to understand how groundwater geohazards could occur and change over time. Outputs will include educational materials, guidance documents and maps that highlight potential groundwater geohazards to planners, developers and the general public. The project emphasizes accessibility of key information, through web portals, in various formats, understandable for a range of technical and non-technical audiences.
Aquageo are partners with a broader team of geoscience professionals, and we are delivering conceptual models, creating datasets for geological modelling and acting as lead technical advisor for the project.
